White Hart Inn - Wells

Our new favourite place to stay in Wells.

The location was gorgeous, in a back alley up a flight of outside stairs.

Noise from kitchen/dinning room.

The total stay was such wonderful for remaining 2 nights of our stay. It had very central location close to a shopping mall. On top of that, bars and pubs were walk from the property.

Nothing to dislike!

Excellent Location and Great Staff

The room was spacious and comfortable, with a super king-size bed that provided a great night's sleep. The bar area had live music. The staff were attentive, providing helpful local recommendations.

The staff was active and efficient, took good care of everyone.

Good facilities and location at a reasonable price

The location of White Hart is excellent, making it easy to access local attractions. The superior double room was recently refurbished, featuring high-quality bedding and linens. Public areas were well-maintained, and the breakfast offered was very good with commendable service from the staff. Parking is ample, accommodating larger vehicles like a Land Rover Discovery. ,

Minor issues included staffing levels during busy periods.

Nice hotel in the centre of Wells. Fantastic service all round - burgers were amazing. Really enjoyed our stay - just the size of the car park was a little difficult to manoeuvre around.

Very welcoming atmosphere within hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Wonderful position for exploring historic Wells and the beautiful surrounding countryside. We visited Glastonbury, Bath, Bristol, Cheddar and Wokey Hole all within very easy reach of less than an hours drive. Hotel was clean and comfortable and food was excellent. A really enjoyable stay and excellent value for money.

The room, despite having a surprisingly tiny bathroom, was well-designed and functional, with great amenities that compensated for the limited space.

I did find a minor inconvenience in the room's layout; the closet space was somewhat cramped.

we were in room 2 , both excessively noisy and smelly from the kitchen underneath. I could hear the kitchen staffs conversations!! We only stayed one night, i would not have stayed in that room another night!! However , i hope the other rooms were better ,although i have no experience of this

Very convenient for visiting Grandson at Wells School. Close to all required amenities for such a visit. Welcome is always warm and staff very courteous and helpful. Room very clean and comfortable with exception of comment made below

Small criticism in that shower head was very grimy and some moulding in the shower cubicle itself

We visited the Cathedral and checked out the local shops. The staff were friendly, and the compact double room was comfy. Don't miss their full English breakfast, it's solid fuel for your day! Just be aware, parking is tight, so plan ahead if you're driving.
